Rook · FinOps Profile

Rook Finops

Rook is Apache 2.0 open-source software hosted by the CNCF; it does not issue invoices. The relevant FinOps surface is the underlying compute, storage, and network capacity the operator consumes on the host Kubernetes cluster, plus any optional commercial-support contract with a vendor such as Clyso or Red Hat (OpenShift Data Foundation).

Rook Finops is the FinOps profile for Rook on the APIs.io network, aligned with the FinOps Foundation Framework.

It defines 3 billable meters, billed in USD, on a none cycle, and pricing category open source.

The profile maps 5 FOCUS columns for cost-allocation reporting.
